Young rising Irish singer/songwriter/producer and actress Tara Lee from Dublin, Ireland signed a worldwide publishing agreement with BMG Los Angeles in 2015. The deal was spearheaded with support from A&R Worldwide during Tara Lee’s showcase at MUSEXPO as an unsigned and unpublished writer, when she performed at a special event honoring multi-Platinum songwriter Diane Warren. Citing influences ranging from Blondie to Massive Attack, as well as heartfelt songwriters like Tori Amos and Diane Warren, Tara has the unique ability to create both raw, emotional, connecting ballads and contemporary, edgy pop songs.
Tara Lee's performance in LA saw her garner strong interest from Thomas Scherer, BMG's EVP, Repertoire & Marketing. A&R Worldwide introduced Thomas to Tara’s then management team of David Reid and Edison Waters (worldwide manager of Gavin James), which led to the subsequent signing. In addition to being a talented singer/songwriter and artist, Tara is an accomplished actress having appeared in highly successful TV series' including BBC's The Fall alongside Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, and EastEnders, as well as films Justice.net, Schemers, Songbird, Love Spreads, A Date for Mad Mary and Moon Dogs. Her music has made it's way to television shows and movies such as Face2Face (movie trailer), Black Mirror (Channel 4/Netflix), The Tigers Tail, The Old Curiosity Shop (ITV), Primeval (ITV), Menú Degustación, and various Jack Taylorepisodes including the series' theme song “If I Burn, You Burn Too."
