Speaker First, a prominent emerging alternative rock band from Bandung, Indonesia, have become one of the first artists from the world’s fourth most populated country and fastest growing economy in Southeast Asia to ink a worldwide deal with a major music company in the United States. Speaker First have toured across N. America, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and the U.K. over the past few years and create a sound that evokes musical nuances of The Ramones meets Queens of the Stone Age.
Speaker First signed their worldwide publishing administration deal with BMG in Los Angeles (June, 2019) with the support of BMG’s Thomas Scherer, Executive Vice President, Repertoire & Marketing Los Angeles, Global Writer Services & China, and Marian Wolf, VP Head of Global Writer Services, VP China. The deal between Speaker First and BMG was orchestrated by Sat Bisla, President & Founder, A&R Worldwide, with the support of the band’s representative Gundo Susiarjo, CEO & Founder of Vulcan Entertainment, and the band’s Los Angeles–based music attorney, Charley Londoño.
